The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Science launched a distinguished awareness initiative aimed at enhancing health awareness among students and the wider community. The initiative included practical and theoretical explanations of blood pressure and blood glucose measurement devices, with a focus on their importance in the early detection of chronic health conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. The activity featured a detailed demonstration of how to use these devices, along with an explanation of the health risks that can be prevented through regular monitoring of the body’s vital indicators. In addition, educational brochures designed by department students were distributed as part of a campaign under the slogan “Your Health in Your Hands.” The brochures presented simplified guidance on device usage, result interpretation, and the normal ranges for blood pressure and glucose levels. This initiative aligns with the department’s vision of employing intelligent technologies in the service of public health and promoting sustainability concepts through community education. It also reflects the objectives of the University of Al-Mustaqbal in building a conscious and educated society capable of addressing health and environmental challenges.
