Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences, Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Muhanna, The Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled: “Educational Guidance and Its Role in Building the Student’s Personality” The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Baneen Nazim, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., at the Medical Building Hall, Al-Mustaqbal University. Educational guidance is one of the basic pillars in the educational process, because of its active role in helping students understand themselves, develop their abilities, and overcome the psychological and behavioral problems that they may face during their academic career. Educational guidance also contributes to enhancing self-confidence, developing communication skills, and making the right decision, which reflects positively on the academic and behavioral level of the student This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences, aiming to develop students’ scientific and educational skills, enhance their behavioral and psychological aspects, and build a balanced personality capable of positive interaction within the academic and social environment. It also reflects the university’s commitment to keeping pace with rapid developments in modern sciences and computer sciences, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s leading position as the top private university in Iraq.
