Dr. Abbas Fadhil Rasan, a lecturer in the Department of Finance and Banking, participated in the Dinar program broadcast on Al-Iraqiya Satellite Channel, where he discussed during his appearance the economic dimensions of technological advancement and its pivotal role in maximizing revenues and enhancing financial and institutional performance efficiency. Dr. Abbas Fadhil explained that digital transformation and the adoption of modern technologies in financial and banking systems have contributed significantly to improving resource management, increasing levels of transparency, and accelerating procedures, which positively reflects on revenue growth and supports financial sustainability. He also noted that technology has become a fundamental pillar in developing sound financial policies and enabling decision-makers to make more accurate and effective decisions. He emphasized that keeping pace with technological development is no longer an option, but rather a strategic necessity for state institutions and the private sector alike, given its profound impact on improving service quality, strengthening trust, and achieving comprehensive economic development. This participation comes within the framework of the scientific and enlightening role undertaken by faculty members of the Department of Finance and Banking in consolidating financial and economic awareness and strengthening channels of communication between academic institutions and national media.
