Sustainability Ambassadors at the College of Science – Department of Smart Medical Systems organized an awareness workshop titled "Smoking and Addiction: How the Habit Starts and How to Quit?" The workshop was presented by the Activities Officer of the department, Assistant Lecturer Ali Saleem Haleem, with participation from the department staff. The workshop highlighted the factors leading to smoking addiction, the associated health and psychological effects, and effective strategies to help individuals quit. The session saw significant interaction from students and faculty members, reflecting the university's commitment to promoting health awareness within the university community. This initiative is part of the university's efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, by raising awareness of health risks, and Goal 4: Quality Education, through providing educational content that contributes to building a more informed and healthier society.
