This project is an advanced kinematic assessment system that integrates smart textiles technology and biomedical engineering. The design utilizes precision force-sensing (FSR) sensors strategically placed on the glove to convert the physical pressure generated by hand movement and grip into real-time digital data. Key Objectives and Features • Measurement Accuracy: Replacing traditional clinical assessment (which relies on visual observation) with precise digital data that accurately determines muscle strength and responsiveness. • Supporting Physical Therapy: Providing physical therapists with an effective tool to monitor the progress of patients with muscle weakness or those recovering from surgery. • Intelligent Analysis: The system uses an Arduino board for signal processing, enabling real-time display of pressure levels via specialized software interfaces, thus facilitating biofeedback for the patient.
