The University of Al-Mustaqbal celebrated its achievement of ranking first in the Iraqi University Rankings for 2025, along with receiving a Certificate of Excellence from the Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, marking a distinguished national accomplishment that reflects the university’s leading position in higher education. The celebration was attended by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the vice presidents, deans, the Dean of the College of Education, the Head of the Department of English Language, and the teaching staff, in addition to a large gathering of faculty members and students. Speeches delivered during the ceremony emphasized that this achievement is the result of a clear strategic vision and integrated institutional work, which has contributed to enhancing scientific research, improving academic performance, and achieving excellence in institutional quality. The ceremony also witnessed the honoring of the University President with a Shield of Excellence, as well as the recognition of a selected group of faculty members in appreciation of their distinguished efforts and contributions to this achievement. In conclusion, the University of Al-Mustaqbal reaffirmed its commitment to continuing excellence, innovation, and the advancement of educational quality in line with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education.
