Respiratory Strength Measurement:
This project was implemented with the efforts and supervision of:
Dr. Amir Najah Saud
Eng. Mohammed Abdul Karim Razouqi
Eng. Zahraa Mohammed Kadhim
This project is a diagnostic and evaluative tool designed to measure the functional efficiency of the respiratory system. The device focuses on determining the strength of the respiratory muscles and the lungs' ability to expel air, which helps in assessing the general health status of patients or athletes.
The device relies on air pressure or flow sensing technology:
• Pressure/Flow Sensor: Converts the user's exhaled force into electrical signals.
• Control Board (Arduino): Processes these signals and converts them into digital values representing respiratory strength.
• Display Interface: The results are displayed on an LCD screen or computer interface to monitor inhalation and exhalation levels.
