scientific workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence and its Applications in Biomedical Devices” was held today, Tuesday, at the Biomedical Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Future University. The workshop, attended by a number of students from the department, was part of ongoing scientific activities aimed at enhancing technical knowledge and keeping pace with modern developments in the medical and engineering fields. The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Zainab Sattar Jabbar and Engineer Zainab Ali Jabr. They discussed the concept of artificial intelligence and its most prominent applications in biomedical devices, its role in improving the efficiency of medical diagnosis and developing health technologies, and presented practical examples that bridge the gap between theory and practice. The workshop witnessed significant student engagement through discussions and questions, with participants emphasizing the importance of such workshops in supporting their academic journey and preparing them for the demands of the future job market.
