Within the framework of pursuing the Sustainable Development Goals, the Department of Industrial Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – University of Al-Mustaqbal organized a scientific workshop entitled “The Risks of Misusing Artificial Intelligence Programs.” The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Younis Abdul Ridha Al-Khafaji, Head of the Department of Industrial Technologies, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The workshop included an explanation of the concept of artificial intelligence programs and introduced students to AI-based applications that support learning and academic study. It also addressed the potential risks associated with the improper or unethical use of these programs. The workshop aimed to promote quality education through the effective and responsible use of artificial intelligence technologies, which are considered essential elements in the advancement of scientific knowledge and educational development. This workshop falls within the framework of Goal Four: Quality Education, one of the Sustainable Development Goals, reflecting the distinguished role of the University of Al-Mustaqbal, which holds a leading position locally among Iraqi public and private universities.
