The Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Future University, launched a comprehensive humanitarian awareness campaign entitled "Blood Donation Saves Lives" to promote the values ​​of human solidarity and social responsibility. This initiative was supervised by: Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Qais Hashim with the active participation of students from the department who contributed to spreading health awareness and distributing educational materials throughout the university. The campaign aimed to achieve several key objectives, most notably: • Raising awareness: Educating students and staff about the importance of blood donation and its vital role in saving lives. • Fostering a culture of volunteerism: Promoting a spirit of giving and volunteer work among university staff and students. • Institutional support: Supporting healthcare institutions and hospitals by ensuring the availability of safe blood units for emergency cases. • • The Humanitarian Role of Engineering: Highlighting the humanitarian and societal role of biomedical engineers as an integral part of the healthcare system. Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): This campaign is part of Future University's efforts to achieve the global Sustainable Development Goals, particularly: 1. Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. 2. Goal 4: Quality Education and Health Awareness.
