The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted an awareness and guidance visit to the consultation clinics at Al-Hillah Teaching Hospital, affiliated with the Babylon Health Directorate, on Wednesday, 14/1/2026. The visit was supervised by Dr. Mohammed Sami, Dr. Aws Hani Naif, and Mr. Ali Qasim Jawad. It included providing health guidance to patients and visitors, as well as distributing educational brochures addressing methods of preventing lower back pain, its causes, and appropriate preventive and therapeutic approaches. The activity also featured an explanation of a set of physical exercises that help reduce and treat lower back pain, in line with one of the Sustainable Development Goals, namely Good Health and Well-Being. The visit witnessed the active participation of first-year students, aiming to enhance the culture of community service and instill the values of volunteer work among students from the early stages of their academic journey, contributing to the preparation of socially responsible and health-aware cadres.
