A faculty member from the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences, College of Administrative Sciences – University of Al-Mustaqbal, participated as a member of a Master’s thesis defense committee at the University of Karbala – College of Administration and Economics. Within the framework of scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Fadhel Al-Tamimi from the University of Al-Mustaqbal took part as a member of the committee for the defense of the Master’s thesis submitted by the student Isra’a Farouk Hamid, on Thursday, 8 January 2026. The defense was conducted in a solid academic atmosphere characterized by valuable scholarly interventions and constructive discussions. The committee commended the importance of the thesis topic and the distinguished research effort it presented in the field of “Sustainable Finance and Its Impact on the Financial Performance of Companies.” This participation comes as part of the University of Al-Mustaqbal’s commitment to empowering its academic staff to maintain an active presence in the academic arena and to strengthening bridges of joint scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities. Such efforts contribute to enhancing the quality of higher education and supporting the advancement of scientific research in line with the requirements of sustainable development and in service of national objectives in the financial sector.
