As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the educational process and promote scientific awareness among students, the department witnessed a scientific and guidance initiative represented by the distribution of awareness brochures to departmental students. This initiative was supervised and followed up by the Head of the Department, Dr. Dakhil Nasser Taha, with the participation of Dr. Sadiq Baqir Jaafar. The initiative aims to provide students with important scientific information and guidance that contribute to strengthening their understanding of academic and laboratory aspects, reinforcing concepts of occupational safety, and fostering a culture of adherence to approved instructions and regulations within scientific laboratories. The brochures also focused on clarifying proper work procedures and highlighting the importance of maintaining a safe educational environment, which positively reflects on students’ scientific and practical performance. During the initiative, Dr. Dakhil Nasser Taha emphasized the importance of the department’s awareness-raising role in supporting students academically and educationally, noting that such activities contribute to building an aware generation capable of assuming scientific and professional responsibility. In turn, Dr. Sadiq Baqir Jaafar explained that the distribution of these brochures comes as part of a series of activities aimed at raising students’ efficiency and enhancing their skills, particularly with regard to laboratory work and adherence to quality and safety standards. The initiative was met with positive interaction from the students, who expressed their appreciation for such activities that help clarify many scientific and organizational aspects and support their academic journey. This step comes within the department’s plan to develop the educational process and strengthen communication between the teaching staff and students, in line with the university’s objectives of achieving quality education and academic accreditation.
