An educational workshop is organized for students of the Department of Art Education on the details of the color wheel at Al-Mustaqbal University.

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance students’ cognitive and aesthetic awareness, the College of Fine Arts organized a specialized educational workshop entitled “Details of the Color Wheel”, targeting first-year students in the Department of Art Education. The workshop aimed to support both the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching visual arts. The workshop was presented by visual artist Sajer Hamid, with the participation of Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Ya‘rab. It addressed key topics focusing on the concept of the color wheel, different color relationships, and methods of employing color in a scientific and balanced manner in the construction of an artwork. The workshop also highlighted the aesthetic and expressive role of color and its importance in developing students’ visual perception and refining their artistic taste. The workshop witnessed notable interaction from students, as it helped bridge theoretical concepts with practical application, enhancing their understanding of the principles of color composition and its diverse uses across various fields of visual arts. This workshop falls within the college’s vision to advance the educational process and provide a stimulating learning environment based on developing students’ artistic and cognitive skills, in line with the requirements of contemporary academic education.
