The College of Fine Arts / Department of Art Education held a workshop for first-year students entitled “Educational Guidance and Its Impact on Developing University Students’ Personality”, presented by M.Sc. Suhaila Kazem Jassim, Head of the Educational and Psychological Guidance Committee at the college, under the supervision of Ms. Zahraa, Head of Educational and Psychological Guidance at Future University. The workshop aimed to introduce students to the concept of educational guidance and its importance in university life, explain its role in providing psychological and academic support, and raise awareness about the importance of psychological and social balance in enhancing artistic creativity. It also covered strategies for addressing academic and behavioral challenges positively, building self-confidence, developing a well-rounded student personality, and encouraging students to benefit from guidance services within the college. The workshop emphasized the role of educational guidance in developing communication skills, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, stress management, and adapting to university life. It concluded that educational guidance is a fundamental element in shaping a well-rounded university student, positively impacting academic achievement and artistic creativity, and strengthening students’ ability to face university challenges and achieve success and stability.Almustaqbal University, The First University in Iraq
