Dr. Ali Karim organized an academic workshop at the College of Education entitled “Developing Communication Skills,” which aimed to enhance students’ abilities in effective communication and develop their linguistic and academic competencies. The workshop was attended by the Head of the Department of English, the department coordinator, and the teaching staff, in addition to the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs. The attendees emphasized the importance of such workshops in supporting the educational process and developing students’ skills, in line with the college’s goals of advancing academic standards. Students actively engaged in the workshop, benefiting from the various topics covered, which included modern methods to improve speaking and listening skills as well as positive interaction both inside and outside the classroom.
