Genetic engineering has significantly contributed to the advancement of modern forensic science by improving DNA analysis techniques and increasing their accuracy and efficiency. These technologies allow scientists to analyze very small or degraded samples that were previously unusable. Genetic engineering is applied in DNA amplification, genetic fingerprinting, and mutation analysis. It also enables the re-examination of old cases using more advanced and reliable methods. This progress highlights the essential role of life sciences in forensic investigations and demonstrates how advancements in genetic engineering have become a fundamental pillar in achieving justice and solving crimes.
