College of Agricultural Technologies Succeeds in Cultivating Eight Types of Edible Mushrooms By the grace of Allah, the College of Agricultural Technologies has achieved a distinguished scientific accomplishment by successfully cultivating eight types of edible mushrooms, as part of its scientific and practical activities aimed at enhancing the applied and research aspects within the college. The cultivated varieties included white and brown button mushrooms, white and brown oyster mushrooms, yellow oyster mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, pink oyster mushrooms, in addition to lion’s mane mushrooms, due to their high nutritional and economic value. This achievement was carried out under the supervision of Professor Dr. Tahani Jawad Mohammed Ali, within the framework of supporting applied research and developing students’ practical skills, in line with labor market requirements and modern trends in agricultural technologies. This accomplishment reflects the College of Agricultural Technologies’ commitment to advancing sustainable agricultural production, encouraging scientific innovation, and enhancing the academic and practical competencies of its students.
