A scientific visit was organized for department students to the college library with the aim of introducing them to available mathematics books and references, and highlighting their role in supporting the educational process and enhancing students’ academic understanding.
The visit was supervised by the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul-Kadhim Fathi, with the participation of Assistant Lecturer Ali Yassin, during which students were guided on the most important scientific resources and how to benefit from them to improve their academic and research skills.
This visit comes as part of a series of scientific activities aimed at promoting a culture of research and self-learning among students and encouraging reliance on reputable academic sources.
This activity contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting lifelong learning opportunities and access to high-quality educational resources. It also supports SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through strengthening students’ scientific and cognitive skills in line with modern academic and technological developments.
