Future University, specifically the Faculty of Engineering – Department of Biomedical Engineering, is launching an environmental awareness campaign aimed at supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promoting social responsibility. The campaign is titled "Combat Desertification for a Sustainable Future." "Together we stop desertification... Together we build a sustainable future." Campaign Objectives: The campaign focuses on several vital areas to raise environmental awareness: 1. Raising Awareness: Defining the concept of desertification and its causes, whether natural or resulting from human activities. 2. Highlighting the Negative Impacts of Desertification on the Environment, the Economy, and Public Health. 3. Promoting Environmental Culture: Encouraging the preservation of agricultural lands and increasing vegetation cover. 4. Highlighting the Scientific Role: Explaining how the Department of Biomedical Engineering can contribute to serving the community and the environment.
