The College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University Launches an Awareness Campaign on Mental Health and Academic Performance The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Committee in the Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness campaign entitled “Mental Health and Academic Performance” on January 13, 2026, on the Al-Mustaqbal University campus. The campaign aimed to empower students to manage academic stress and achieve psychological balance, contributing to the sustainability of academic creativity and preventing premature burnout. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals supported by the activity, particularly Goal 3 on good health and well-being, Goal 4 on quality education, and Goal 8 on decent work and economic growth. The campaign was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Zainab Sattar Jabbar, Engineer Zainab Ali Jabr, and Engineer Hussein Hadi Hussein, and was met with positive student engagement. Students emphasized the importance of such initiatives in supporting mental health and improving academic performance within the university environment.
