Under the patronage of the President of the University of Al-Mustaqbal, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, with the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and under the guidance of the Head of the Department of Medical Bioengineering Technologies, Dr. Hassanein Khalil Ibrahim, the College of Science / Department of Medical Bioengineering Technologies organized a scientific seminar entitled: "Students as Partners in Protecting the Earth: From Individual Initiative to Collective Action." The seminar is part of the scientific activities aimed at raising students’ scientific and environmental awareness, enhancing academic culture, and fostering communication between faculty members and students, contributing to the development of the educational process and instilling a sense of social responsibility. The seminar was presented by Lecturer Dr. Safaa Mohammed Obadah, faculty member at the University of Babylon / Babylon Center for Historical and Geographical Studies, as part of efforts to strengthen academic relations, exchange scientific expertise, and consolidate collaborative ties between universities. The presentation covered scientific topics focusing on students’ role in environmental protection and emphasized the importance of transforming individual initiatives into organized collective actions that benefit society, presented in a clear and methodical scientific approach. The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Science, several heads of academic departments, faculty members, and students. It featured active participation from the attendees through discussions and questions, enriching the seminar’s topics and contributing to achieving its scientific and awareness-raising objectives.
