Prof. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the Intersec 2026 Forum and Exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Center from January 12 to 14, 2026, as part of the university’s efforts to strengthen international partnerships and stay abreast of the latest innovations in security and safety. Intersec is recognized as one of the world’s leading events in the fields of security, safety, and fire prevention, bringing together industry experts and innovators to showcase the latest solutions and technologies in national security, cybersecurity, information security, fire protection, and occupational health and safety. The exhibition hosted over 1,200 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, including the United States, Germany, Turkey, China, and other major nations, with more than 50,000 specialized visitors attending from around the world. The event also featured over 250 conferences and workshops led by global experts, across an area of approximately 65,000 square meters. During the visit, the university president toured the pavilions of leading companies, exploring the latest fire protection systems, safety technologies, smart solutions, and risk management systems, as well as digital and sensor-based solutions designed to enhance security and health operations. The tour also included a visit to the NAFCO pavilion, a leading American company and official event sponsor, where he reviewed the company’s latest fire protection and safety solutions, which are aligned with the development of a state-of-the-art fire and safety system at Al-Mustaqbal University Teaching Hospital. Additionally, Prof. Magdy attended several specialized sessions and conferences, including the Fire and Rescue Conference organized by the National Safety Association, and participated in the Innovation Forum and Smart Control Systems sessions.
