In the context of highlighting current economic and financial issues, the program “Dinar,” broadcast on the Iraqi News Channel, hosted Dr. Abbas Fadel Rassan, a faculty member in the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences, in his capacity as an expert in financial and banking affairs.
This appearance came as part of an episode titled “Taxes, Customs Duties, and Economic Reform,” during which Dr. Abbas Fadel Rassan discussed the decision to impose customs tariffs in Iraq, reviewing the main challenges facing their implementation and their role in supporting the general budget and maximizing non-oil revenues.
