Within the framework of the department presidency’s commitment to supporting students, advancing their academic and skill-based reality, and strengthening their active role within the university environment, a meeting was held today that brought together the Head of the Department, Dr. Zahraa Hashim, the Department Rapporteur, Dr. Murtadha Abbas, and a number of distinguished students of the department. The meeting aimed to discuss the future of the department and the prospects for developing student activities in a manner that keeps pace with contemporary requirements and technological advancement. The meeting addressed a range of student activities, including the design and programming of professional software, the development of projects based on artificial intelligence technologies and their modern applications, as well as exploring ways to activate recreational activities for students. This came with the aim of improving students’ psychological well-being and creating a balanced university environment that combines education and recreation, contributing to the development of creativity and innovation among students in line with labor market requirements and rapid technological progress. At the conclusion of the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of supporting student activities and encouraging initiatives that contribute to creating an integrated university environment that brings together the educational and recreational aspects, thereby enhancing creativity and developing students’ skills.
