The Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques organized an educational training workshop for first-year students on how to correctly fill out the bubble sheet, under the supervision of Dr. Sadiq Jaafar Baqir, with the participation of Ms. Karam Kazem Abd Zaid and Ms. Basma Eid Al-Khaliq Abdan.
This workshop was held as part of the department’s commitment to preparing students academically from the early stages of their studies, particularly with regard to modern examination methods that rely on electronic correction systems. The workshop highlighted the correct way to fill out the bubble sheet, how to accurately select answers, and the importance of adhering to the instructions provided on the examination form.
The workshop included a detailed explanation of the most common mistakes students make when filling out bubble sheets, such as incomplete shading of answers, using inappropriate writing tools, or leaving blank spaces that may result in answers being marked incorrect. Practical guidelines were also provided to help students avoid these mistakes and ensure accurate electronic grading.
The workshop also witnessed positive interaction from the students, as they were given the opportunity to ask questions and raise inquiries related to examinations and evaluation methods. Practical examples were presented, which contributed to enhancing students’ understanding and increasing their confidence, thereby helping to reduce stress and confusion during examinations.
