Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a new academic milestone, solidifying its advanced position in higher education by ranking first among Iraqi private universities and third among all 128 public and private Iraqi universities, according to the global Webometrics ranking results. On the international level, the university recorded an unprecedented qualitative leap in its global ranking, jumping from 3224th to 1967th globally. This significant advancement of 1,257 ranks reflects the rapid development in the university’s academic, research, and digital performance, as well as its growing presence in the global university landscape. This progress is attributed to integrated institutional efforts in supporting rigorous scientific research, enhancing academic publishing in accredited global repositories, developing digital infrastructure, and improving the performance of university websites and platforms in line with Webometrics standards. In this context, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, emphasized that this achievement is the fruit of collective work and the team spirit adopted by the university. He praised the outstanding efforts of the academic and administrative staff, noting that this progress serves as an incentive to continue excellence and reach even higher ranks in local and international classifications. Dr. Majdi further explained that Al-Mustaqbal University is moving forward with its strategic plans aimed at enhancing the quality of education, developing qualitative scientific research, increasing international publication rates, and elevating digital performance to ensure sustainable academic achievements regionally and internationally.
