Students of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies on a Scientific Visit to the Cybersecurity Directorate at the Ministry of Interior Under the patronage of the President of the University and the supervision of the Dean of the Technical Engineering College, the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies organized a scientific visit to the Ministry of Interior / Cybersecurity Directorate. The delegation was received by the Director of the Cybersecurity Directorate, Brigadier General Dr. Hassan Hadi, who delivered an introductory workshop addressing the concepts of cybersecurity, its importance, and its role in protecting systems and digital infrastructure. The visit included a field tour for the students through the directorate’s departments and training centers, as well as an overview of the operations rooms and an introduction to work mechanisms and methods for countering cyberattacks, contributing to enhancing the students’ practical skills. Thirty students from the department participated in the visit. It was supervised by the Head of the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies, Dr. Rami Qais Malik, and accompanied by Teaching Assistant Haider Adi. This visit comes within the college’s commitment to linking theoretical knowledge with practical application and strengthening cooperation with relevant state institutions in the department’s field of specialization.
