As part of enhancing practical learning and strengthening the link between academic study and labor market requirements, a scientific field trip was organized for first-year students of the Computer Engineering Techniques Department to the Baghdad International Fair, coinciding with their participation in the International Energy Exhibition, on January 11, 2026. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the latest technologies, projects, and products showcased by local and international companies in the fields of energy and technology. Students were introduced to real-world applications related to their field of study and gained valuable insights into the current labor market and its evolving needs, contributing to the development of their scientific and professional awareness. During the trip, discussions were held regarding potential avenues of cooperation with participating companies, with the goal of enhancing the scientific and practical benefits for students and opening future opportunities for training and professional development. The scientific trip was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Hussein Shawqi, who emphasized the importance of such activities in supporting the educational process and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
