Under the patronage of the President of Almustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, and supervised by the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Assistant Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the Faculty of Science at Almustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Central Student Activities, concluded the Information Bank Competition, with the participation of the four students who advanced to the final stage. The competition witnessed the presence of representatives from the Department of Medical Physics, where Prof. Dr. Anis Ali, Head of the Department, emphasized the importance of the information and knowledge presented during the event. He noted that such activities enhance students’ scientific and analytical thinking and support the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical applications in various scientific fields. Dr. Anis added that supporting students in scientific and research activities is a priority that contributes to building a generation capable of innovation and positively impacting the academic and professional community. All finalists were honored during the event. The first place was awarded to Fadhel Haider Saleem from the Department of Smart Medical Systems, while second place went to Haider Ali Mohsen from the Department of Artificial Intelligence. Winners received certificates of appreciation from the Dean of the Faculty of Science. Additionally, the Assistant Lecturer Hadi Salah Hadi, coordinator for the Department of Artificial Intelligence, was honored for his efforts in making the event successful. It is worth noting that the idea, organization, and full supervision of the competition were managed by Dr. Ahmed Al-Muhanna, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, as part of the faculty’s support for meaningful scientific activities and promoting positive competition among students, in line with the faculty’s vision of developing students’ scientific and research skills. This event also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, as it promotes knowledge acquisition, critical thinking, and scientific development among students. AL_Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq.
