The Department of Anesthesia Techniques organized a specialized scientific workshop on the Artificial Airway, presented by Mr. Hasan Najah, with the participation of the department’s faculty members and coordinator.
The artificial airway is considered a fundamental topic in anesthesiology, as it plays a crucial role in securing the airway and maintaining adequate ventilation for patients requiring artificial respiration, especially in surgical and emergency cases.
The workshop covered both theoretical and practical aspects of the types of artificial airways, how to select the appropriate type according to the patient’s condition, and the correct methods of use, in addition to how to handle potential complications. This contributes to enhancing clinical performance and improving patient safety during anesthesia procedures.
The workshop also emphasized the importance of developing healthcare professionals’ skills and following safe anesthesia practices, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), by improving healthcare quality and reducing risks associated with airway management.
The workshop witnessed fruitful scientific interaction, marked by constructive discussions and knowledge exchange among participants, reflecting the department’s commitment to raising the academic and professional level of its members and keeping pace with the latest developments in the field of anesthesia.
