With ongoing climate change, relying on traditional agricultural practices threatens agricultural production and the sustainability of natural resources, making the transition to sustainable agriculture a strategic choice to address these challenges.
The Concept of Sustainable Agriculture
Sustainable agriculture refers to the use of farming practices aimed at preserving soil, water, and natural resources, while increasing production and ensuring food security without harming ecosystems or causing environmental degradation. This approach relies on efficient resource management, reducing dependence on chemical inputs, and promoting biodiversity.

Climate change, including rising temperatures, altered rainfall patterns, and increased frequency of extreme weather events such as floods and droughts, directly affects agricultural productivity.
