The Department of biology organized an awareness campaign entitled “Small Sustainability Actions… Let Us Confront Climate Change,” under the supervision of lecturer M.M. Duha Salah Sahib, with the participation of the department’s students. The campaign included the distribution of awareness brochures aimed at promoting a culture of environmental sustainability and emphasizing the importance of simple daily practices in reducing the impacts of climate change, thereby contributing to the preservation of the environment and natural resources. This campaign aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal (13) Climate Action, Goal (12) Responsible Consumption and Production, and Goal (15) Life on Land, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance environmental awareness and instill a sense of responsibility within the university community.
