Under the patronage of the President of ِAL_Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, the Student Activities Department, in cooperation with the Faculty of Education at ِAL_Mustaqbal University, held a specialized scientific seminar entitled: “Digital Transformation and its Role in Ensuring Quality Education for Persons with Disabilities: A Legal Approach in Light of Sustainable Development Goal 4.” This seminar was held as part of the university’s efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, which focuses on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all and promoting lifelong learning opportunities, with a particular emphasis on persons with disabilities as an integral part of the academic community. The seminar was attended by a number of faculty members, researchers, and students. The lecture was delivered by Lecturer Ali Ayed Abbas, who reviewed the concept of digital transformation and its importance in developing the educational system, as well as its active role in overcoming obstacles faced by persons with disabilities in accessing education, through the use of digital technologies and modern educational media. The symposium also addressed the legal dimensions related to guaranteeing the right to education for persons with disabilities, highlighting key national and international legislation that affirms the principle of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, as well as linking this to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4. At the conclusion of the symposium, participants emphasized the importance of promoting digital transformation in educational institutions and intensifying academic and legislative efforts to ensure inclusive and equitable education that considers the needs of all groups and contributes to building a sustainable knowledge society. They also recommended continuing to hold such focused academic symposia that address contemporary educational and societal issues. ِAL_Mustaqbal University...
