In an academic event reflecting the rich cultural landscape at Al-Mustaqbal University, the English Department at the College of Education hosted a distinguished workshop titled “William Wordsworth: An Incarnation of Romanticism”, skillfully prepared and presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mamoun Sami Saleh on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Dr. Mamoun approached the subject from a deep critical perspective, highlighting the emotional and aesthetic dimensions in the works of the English poet William Wordsworth. He demonstrated how this literary icon skillfully employed nature and the human self as a mirror reflecting the Romantic spirit, while also outlining the profound influence he exerted on the structure of modern English poetry and its intellectual transformations. The workshop witnessed high-level academic engagement, attended by the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmad Roudan, the Head of the English Department, Lecturer Dr. Salam Hasan Maki, the scientific and administrative assistants, the department coordinator, and a distinguished group of faculty members and researchers who enriched the session with their thoughtful discussions.
