Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science and the Head of the Department, the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University celebrated the blessed Sha’bani birth anniversaries in a spiritual and cultural atmosphere that reflected the deep religious and human values the university seeks to instill within the academic community. The event was attended by a number of faculty members, staff, and students. The celebration included speeches highlighting the noble biographies of the Imams of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the profound meanings of this occasion in promoting the values of justice, tolerance, reform, and strengthening religious and cultural identity. The celebration featured various activities, including the recitation of poetry and religious chants, as well as the distribution of gifts and sweets in celebration of this auspicious occasion, spreading an atmosphere of joy and harmony among attendees. The Deanship of the College of Science affirmed that organizing such events aligns with the university’s approach to supporting cultural and social activities alongside academic development, contributing to a balanced educational environment that fosters both intellectual and ethical growth. This event is consistent with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: Goal 4: Quality Education, by promoting cultural and ethical values within the educational environment. Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by fostering tolerance, coexistence, and social cohesion. The celebration reflects the College of Science’s commitment to commemorating religious and social occasions, reinforcing moral and human values, and strengthening bonds of cooperation and mutual respect within the university community.
