Under the gracious patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University and the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, the College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an orientation ceremony for first-year students. The event aimed to strengthen bonds of acquaintance and build channels of communication between new students and the College community, in an atmosphere marked by vitality and optimism at the beginning of their academic journey. The ceremony was attended by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, along with a number of university officials, including the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Munther Fadel; the Director of the Diwan Affairs Department, Engineer Abdul Redha Shaker Majdi; the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi; and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shaker Majdi, in addition to the Dean of the College and a distinguished group of faculty members. In a speech delivered during the event, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Walaa Loay Al-Fallouji, welcomed the students, noting that their admission to the College of Medicine represents the beginning of a noble scientific and humanitarian journey that requires diligence, discipline, and a high sense of responsibility. He emphasized that the College is committed to providing a supportive educational environment that contributes to developing their scientific and practical skills. The program included a variety of activities that reflected students’ talents and creativity, featuring poetic and artistic performances, expressive presentations, and musical pieces that added an atmosphere of joy and interaction among attendees, highlighting the spirit of cooperation and belonging within the College. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Dean renewed his full support for the students, wishing them a successful academic journey, and affirming that the College, its administration, and faculty members will always stand by them in their pursuit of medical and professional excellence.
