The Department of Anesthesia Techniques participated in the International Academic Forum (EURAS), which was held for the first time in Iraq at Al-Mustaqbal University, on Wednesday, January 29, 2026, with wide academic participation from inside and outside Iraq. The department’s participation included scientific and practical exhibits specialized in the field of anesthesia, reflecting the advanced scientific and technical level of the department. This contribution highlighted its active role in supporting the educational and healthcare process and aligned with the third Sustainable Development Goal (Good Health and Well-Being) by promoting safe anesthesia practices and improving the quality of healthcare services. The Anesthesia Techniques pavilion was honored by a visit from the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, accompanied by the Scientific Assistant to the University President, Prof. Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ali Shaker Majdi, and the Assistant Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji. They reviewed the exhibits and praised the department’s efforts and distinguished participation in this international academic event. This participation comes as part of the Department of Anesthesia Techniques’ commitment to enhancing international academic presence and scientific openness, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, and strengthening the position of Al-Mustaqbal University at both the local and international levels.
