The Department of Art Education at the College of Fine Arts, Al-Mustaqbal University, recorded an active and distinguished participation in the Free Drawing Exhibition held on the sidelines of the EURAS Academy 2026 International Forum, attended by a select group of academics, researchers, and decision-makers from within Iraq and abroad. The exhibited artworks reflected the creativity of the department’s students and staff, featuring a variety of paintings that expressed the depth of Iraqi cultural identity and drew inspiration from the heritage of Mesopotamian civilization, alongside contemporary works that embodied the dynamic interaction between art and knowledge, and the modern transformations in education and society. The exhibition received wide attention and praise from forum guests, who commended the high artistic standard of the displayed works and the academic and educational role played by the Department of Art Education in supporting creativity, developing aesthetic awareness, and reinforcing visual culture as a universal human language that contributes to enhancing civilizational dialogue and cultural exchange.
