specialized scientific seminar titled “Biomaterials: From Basic Principles to Modern Medical Applications” was organized and presented by Mr. Abdullah Qais Hashim in the Biomedical Engineering Department. Targeting first-year students, the seminar focused on providing a comprehensive scientific framework for the concept of biomaterials, highlighting their basic classifications, properties, and pivotal role in interacting with biological systems. The seminar also reviewed the latest medical applications of biomaterials in the field of medical implants, thus contributing to bridging theoretical foundations with contemporary clinical applications, enhancing students' scientific awareness, and developing their academic understanding from the earliest stages of their studies.
