A scientific workshop was held for first-year students in the Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering. Presented by Engineer Mohammed Abdul Karim Razouqi and Engineer Zainab Ali Jabr, the workshop included an introduction to the microscope and its operating mechanism, along with a detailed explanation of its components. Slides of living tissue were also presented, highlighting their importance and relevance to the field of biomedical engineering and its medical applications. This workshop is part of an initiative to support students' practical training and develop their scientific skills, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly: • Goal 4: Quality Education • Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being • Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
