Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education, the English Department at Al-Mustaqbal University attended the cultural and awareness-raising workshop organized by the Department of Psychology, titled “Sha‘bani Moons: Building the University Student’s Character between Sacrifice, Loyalty, and Knowledge”, as part of a series of educational activities aimed at reinforcing values and principles among students at Al-Mustaqbal University. The workshop, presented by Professor Thanaa Bahaeddin Abdullah and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Amer Al-Marzouqi, focused on the importance of drawing lessons from Sha‘bani occasions in shaping students’ identities, linking cognitive development with ethical values such as sacrifice and loyalty, and fostering cultural awareness among students while enhancing the university’s role as an educational institution committed to intellectual and behavioral development.
The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College, heads of various departments, the Head of the English Department and its coordinators, in addition to a large number of academic and administrative staff and students who actively engaged with the discussions presented. The workshop took place on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 11:30 AM, in one of the central halls of the College of Education at Al-Mustaqbal University, in a distinguished academic and cultural atmosphere reflecting the university’s ongoing commitment to supporting humanistic and intellectual values among its students.
