As part of practical training in journalistic coverage, a media team from first-year students of the Department of Media participated in the Euro-Asian Universities Academic Forum, which commenced on the morning of Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the University of Al-Mustaqbal. The forum witnessed the attendance of a distinguished group of representatives from Turkish universities, alongside presidents of Iraqi universities and a number of academic figures. The forum was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the presence of the Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry. On the sidelines of the forum, the Department of Media also took part by organizing a special pavilion within the university exhibition, featuring display models highlighting applications of artificial intelligence in media, in addition to showcasing the department’s publications and scientific activities.
