University of Al-Mustaqbal Holds a Scientific Seminar on Women’s Participation in Volunteer Work

The University of Al-Mustaqbal, represented by the Women’s Affairs Division and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering – Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering, organized a scientific seminar as part of the implementation of the Participation and Institutional Reform Pillar (Paragraph 5), entitled: “Women’s Participation in Volunteer Work”, presented by Assistant Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghafar. The seminar aimed to promote a culture of volunteerism and strengthen the values of cooperation and social responsibility. It highlighted the active and outstanding role of women in various voluntary activities, where they played a pivotal role in supporting humanitarian, social, and service initiatives. The seminar emphasized that women’s participation stems from their belief in their vital role in serving society and contributing to achieving sustainable development. Volunteer activities ranged from awareness campaigns and environmental initiatives to educational programs and humanitarian support, reflecting women’s awareness of the importance of collective action and its positive impact on society.
