Universit Al-Mustaqbal Organizes a Scientific Workshop on the Impact of Chemical Substances on Women’s Health

Under the patronage of the President of Universit Al-Mustaqbal, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, and in implementation of the partnership agreement with Ma’an Association, organized a scientific workshop entitled “The Impact of Chemical Substances on Women’s Health,” conducted via the Zoom platform. The workshop was presented by expert engineer Saadia Faleh Hassoun, President of Ma’an Association for Human and Environmental Protection, and the National Coordinator of the Arab Network for Environment and Development / Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Her lecture addressed the most prominent health risks resulting from exposure to chemical substances and their effects on women’s health, while highlighting preventive measures and ways to reduce these impacts. The workshop witnessed wide interaction from participants, emphasizing the importance of enhancing health and environmental awareness and highlighting the role of academic institutions in promoting preventive culture and supporting community health, particularly women’s health.
