As part of awareness activities aimed at promoting health culture and reinforcing the concepts of prevention and early detection within the university community, a health awareness campaign entitled “Together We Fight Cancer” was organized, reflecting the commitment of the Department of biology at Al-Mustaqbal University to supporting health initiatives and enhancing community awareness. The campaign was held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Al-Mustaqbal University – University Corridors. Campaign Supervision The campaign was supervised by: Lecturer Assistant (M.M.) Zainab Nazim Aziz, Alaa Adel Rasmi, Ghadir Aqeel Ibrahim. Activity Description The campaign included the distribution of awareness brochures to students and university staff, containing health and educational information related to cancer. The materials covered common types of cancer, major causes of the disease, possible prevention methods, and emphasized the importance of early screening and its effective role in reducing incidence rates and increasing chances of recovery. The awareness materials carried the slogan “Together We Fight Cancer”, conveying a message aimed at strengthening social responsibility and joint cooperation in confronting this disease. The campaign witnessed notable interaction from students, who demonstrated clear interest in the information provided, contributing to strengthening health awareness and achieving the campaign’s educational objectives within the university environment.
