Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Roudhan, and as part of its scientific and cultural activities, the Department of English at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled “The Educational, Social, and Psychological Dimensions of the Anniversary of the Birth of Imam Al-Mahdi (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance)” on Thursday, February 5, 2026. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Amer Al-Marzouk, in the presence of the Head of the Department of English, the department rapporteurs, as well as a group of faculty members and students. The workshop addressed three main dimensions: the educational dimension, which focused on the role of positive anticipation in building an aware personality inspired by the values of patience and perseverance; the social dimension, which highlighted the values of solidarity and human unity associated with the concept of justice; and the psychological dimension, which discussed the impact of hope and optimism on enhancing mental well-being and facing challenges. The workshop witnessed active interaction from the attendees through discussions and contributions that enriched its themes. At the conclusion, the Head of the Department expressed his appreciation to the lecturer, affirming the department’s commitment to organizing activities that enhance the cultural and spiritual awareness of students.
