Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rodhan, and as part of its academic and cultural activities, the Department of English at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled: “The Educational, Social, and Psychological Dimensions of the Anniversary of the Birth of Imam Al-Mahdi (May Allah hasten his reappearance),” on Thursday, February 5, 2026. The workshop was attended by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Amer Al-Marzouk, in the presence of the Head of the Department of English and the department rapporteurs, with the participation of a number of English Department instructors, as well as faculty members and students of the College. The workshop addressed three main themes: the educational dimension, which focused on the role of positive anticipation in building an aware personality inspired by the values of patience and perseverance; the social dimension, which highlighted the values of solidarity and human unity associated with the concept of justice; and the psychological dimension, which discussed the impact of hope and optimism in promoting mental well-being and confronting challenges. The workshop witnessed remarkable interaction from the attendees through discussions and interventions that enriched its themes. At its conclusion, the Head of the Department expressed his appreciation to the participants, affirming the Department’s commitment to organizing activities that enhance students’ cultural and spiritual awareness.
