The Department of Forensic Evidence – College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University organized a Best Graduation Research Competition for students, supervised by the Department Coordinator, Assistant Lecturer Riyam Thaer Ahmed. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to motivating students, encouraging academic excellence, and enhancing the quality of scientific outputs in line with the highest academic standards.
The competition aims to strengthen students’ research skills, refine their abilities in analysis and reasoning, and develop their capacity to present scientific findings in a structured and objective manner. It also provides a platform for knowledge and experience exchange between students and faculty members, while encouraging innovation in the field of forensic evidence.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to:
SDG 4: Quality Education, by enhancing the quality of education and practical training for students.
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by preparing specialized scientific cadres capable of meeting the needs of the scientific and technical labor market.

Assistant Lecturer Riyam Thaer Ahmed, Department Coordinator, emphasized that the competition aims to create a healthy competitive environment among students, encourage creativity and excellence, and raise the level of scientific research at the university. He also noted that the results will be announced at the end of the semester, with incentive awards for the winning students.
