Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq, and under the supervision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in cooperation with the Faculty of Commerce – Mansoura University (Egypt) and the College of Business Economics – University of Bahrain, the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University announces the convening of the Second International Scientific Conference, entitled: “Poverty and Sustainable Development in Iraq: The Cost of Impact and Response Policy” The conference will be held during the period 1–2 April 2026 at Al-Mustaqbal University. The conference aims to shed light on key issues related to poverty and sustainable development, analyze the economic and social costs of poverty, discuss government policies and social support programs, as well as promote environmental and economic sustainability. It also highlights the role of digital transformation, financial technology, and artificial intelligence in addressing developmental challenges. The conference includes several scientific tracks, including the economic, administrative, accounting, and financial tracks, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and academics from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities. The organizing committee invites researchers and interested participants to take part in the conference and submit their abstracts and research papers within the specified deadlines. Participation in the conference is free of charge, and the conference administration will provide hospitality for participating researchers.
