A health awareness activity entitled “Prevention of Skin Cancer” was held on Tuesday, 3/2, organized by the Department of Cosmetology and Laser Technologies. The activity was presented by Dr. Hussein Safaa Sultan in cooperation with first-year students, as part of efforts to promote health awareness among students and the community. The activity included the distribution of informational brochures containing important information about the causes of skin cancer, methods of prevention, the importance of early detection, as well as ways to protect against harmful sun rays. The event witnessed positive interaction from the students, who showed great interest in the information provided, emphasizing the importance of such activities in enhancing health and preventive awareness. At the conclusion of the activity, participants praised the efforts of Dr. Hussein Safaa Sultan and the first-year students, expressing their hope for the continuation of such beneficial initiatives in serving the community.
